How does it work?
Getting up and running with Tagely takes just minutes - just install our website tracking pixel (website tag) on your site, and optionally also set up any additional events you choose to monitor, such as leads, purchases, subscriptions, etc. Those same events can then be accessed by ReferDigital, if you wish to also set up an affiliate program there.
What does installation involve?
Somebody on your team, typically the web administrator, just needs to insert a code snippet we provide in your Tagely account (your Tagely base pixel code) on every page of your website, typically in the website header. For basic analytics that's all that's required. For conversion tracking and affiliate marketing via ReferDigital, you also need to set up conversion events on the conversion pages of your site. This is also an easy process taking just minutes and clear instructions are posted in your Tagely account under Events Setup.

Can you track events programmatically? Is there an API?
Yes and yes! Tagely comes complete with a API that has you covered. Useful for situations where you need to enter an event into our systems that's not associated with a human page view, such as subscription plan updates. For example, users often go from free trials to paid plans automatically at the expiration of free trials, without having to load a page manually on your website. This is an important event you might want to track - for example you might be using it to determine affiliate commissions on ReferDigital.
How do I get Tagely data into my AI and what can I do with it there?
You can easily download any of your data from Tagely in CSV format suitable for uploading into any AI program that supports file upload and analysis, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, Claude from Anthropic, and many others. Once it's there, the analysis you can perform is only limited by the power of your AI... you might wish to run sophisticated and powerful analysis on your traffic, user engagement behavior, segmentation, and much more!
